Automotive Division
manufactures 12V batteries for all powertrain concepts, covering internal combustion over to full electrician and off-road vehicles. We offer lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries for light and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats and more. We serve the OEMs and the Aftermarket with our and our customer's top brands.

About the job:

For our growing Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares at the earliest possible date we are looking for a:
Quality Management Systems Leader.

Reporting to the Director Quality Automotive your mission will be: overseeing and managing the quality management systems within EXIDE. This role ensures that all processes and procedures comply with industry standards and regulations, aiming to improve overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality management systems and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure effective communication of quality standards and expectations across the organization.

What we ask for:

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management systems, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Automotive IATF 16949 expertise.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Office-based role with occasional travel to manufacturing sites.
• Standard working hours with flexibility for audits and assessments.
• English: proffesional level
