Location: Hybrid - Malaga

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join one of our clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our digital platforms by actively participating in the full development lifecycle – from solution definition to functional and automated testing of microservices, APIs and front-end applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in solution definition, design reviews and testing phases
  • Collaborate in the execution of agile product development (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Design, develop and execute functional and technical test cases
  • Perform testing of microservices, REST APIs and front-end applications
  • Contribute to and maintain automated test suites
  • Participate in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Report defects, track quality metrics and work closely with developers and product owner

Requirements:

  • Proven participation in solution development (definition and testing phases)
  • Hands-on collaboration in agile product delivery teams
  • Solid experience in functional and technical testing
  • Testing of microservices, APIs and front-end applications
  • 2–3+ years using the tools and technologies listed below
  • Good understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Practical experience with TDD and/or BDD
  • Higher Education Certificate, University Degree

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Trade & Supply Chain Finance products
  • Exposure to payment channels and formats (ISO 20022, SWIFT, SEPA, etc.)
  • Understanding of accounting principles and regulatory reporting
