ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, who are the global leader in access solutions. The MARINE Division is seeking a Field Service Technician in Spain. Ideally located in the Barcelona area.
What you would do
You will contribute to strengthen our Marine Department in Spain, delivering innovative access solutions that make our customers happy. You will travel all over the world to perform a diverse range of maintenance and installation. You will also:
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance, repair and service to hardware solutions such as electronic locks, safes, and other IT equipment.
• Participate in testing and servicing new hardware and software products, ensuring functionality and reliability.
• Be involved in software installation, programming, and development, including laptop configuration and system updates.
• Maintain good customer relationships.
• Work under pressure in a multinational environment.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for problem-solvers, quick thinkers, and technical experts with:
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows and network solutions, with additional experience in Linux and databases (SQL or others); also possesses carpentry and IT skills.
• Experience in technical planning, commissioning, and training of crew in the use and maintenance of products. Experience with ASSA ABLOY electronic lock systems and access control systems will be a plus.
• Good spoken and written English, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
