We're hiring: Area Manager – Textile & Flat Lamination (Europe)

Location:
Europe (remote with frequent travel).

, we are a global leader in adhesive solutions for flexible packaging, technical lamination and textiles. As we strengthen our presence in the
Textile and Flat Lamination
markets, we are looking for an experienced
Area Manager
to drive commercial growth across Europe.

Your mission

To expand MORCHEM's footprint in the European Textile & Flat Lamination markets, maximize profitability, and open new business opportunities.

What you will do:

Commercial & Business Development

  • Develop and implement the sales plan for your assigned countries within Europe.
  • Manage and grow the commercial portfolio in Textile and Flat Lamination.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular visits and continuous follow-up.
  • Negotiate commercial conditions, ensuring profitability and target achievement.

Market Strategy & Analysis

  • Prepare and update market studies: customer potential, MORCHEM's positioning and competitor landscape.
  • Develop the annual sales budget together with the Business Development Director.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly, interim and annual performance reports.

Technical & Customer Support

  • Provide both technical and commercial support to customers.
  • Collaborate with R&D by identifying market needs and preparing development requests (volumes, pricing, technical specifications).
  • Organize customer presentations and training sessions in coordination with the Technical Service Team.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, trade fairs and symposiums to generate new leads.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Chemistry).
  • 5–10 years of technical and/or commercial experience
    in Textile and/or Flat Lamination.
  • Strong analytical and market-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English;
    German or French is a strong plus
    .
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Serious, methodical, resilient and highly organized profile.
  • Availability for frequent travel across Europe.
