As a
Regulatory Manager
, you will ensure full compliance with Spanish and EU regulations affecting our business. You will advise operational teams, mitigate legal risks, and anticipate regulatory changes, especially in Consumer Law and Data Protection (GDPR).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Consumer Regulation

  • Manage compliance matters under Credit Consumer Law and General Consumer Law.
  • Review and update consumer agreements.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and testing.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Drive corrective action plans and guide business teams.
  • Manage consumer claims before Consumer Agencies.
  • Resolve operational queries related to consumer regulation.

Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Coordinate GDPR actions with the external DPO: DPIAs, training, security measures.
  • Support personal data processing compliance across Spain and the EU.
  • Prepare documentation and responses for the AEPD.
  • Assist teams with GDPR and Spanish DP Law requirements.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving and autonomy.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.

Knowledge

  • Deep expertise in Consumer Law (credit & general).
  • Solid understanding of GDPR and Spanish Data Protection Law.
  • Ability to translate complex regulation into business solutions.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Law (Spain).
  • 5–7 years' experience in
    Consumer Law
    , including at least 2 years in-industry.
  • Experience or interest in
    Data Protection
    .
  • Strong communication skills and appetite for new technologies & AI.
