About Otovo

Founded in Oslo, Norway, we aim to change how people consume energy in their homes through a better, cleaner, cheaper solution: photovoltaic panels.

Over the years, Otovo has developed a marketplace and tools allowing customers to quickly obtain an offer for a solar installation on their roofs. Also, we provide installers with work where they can bid and price their services for PV projects. About your role

We are looking for a driven, knowledgeable, and collaborative Technical Support to join our European Operations Center (EOC) in Madrid. In this role, you will act as a technical expert and problem solver, ensuring the quality and reliability of our solar installations across Europe. You will work closely with installation partners, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to improve outcomes for our customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring that every solar installation we deliver meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Serve our installed base of customers by handling technical questions and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with installers and manufacturers to build and optimize technical solutions, ensuring systems perform as expected.
  • Act as a technical advisor for local Operations, Sales, and Account Management teams to support technical decisions.
  • Plan and evaluate installation quality audits performed by external auditors.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of installation quality, documentation, and technical procedures.

What is expected from you:

  • Portuguese
    or French
    (C1- Native)
    language skills required
  • 1-2 years of work experience
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Solid knowledge of solar energy systems
  • Understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
  • Strong customer focus and collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) to coordinate internationally
  • A strong team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and learning from others
