Job Description
We are seeking a talented and strategic Senior SEO Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the entire SEO strategy for our three flagship marketplaces. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be a key player in shaping our digital growth, ensuring our platforms remain at the forefront of the industry and are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the AI transformation.

Job Requirements

• Experienced SEO Professional: 5+ years of experience in a dedicated SEO role, handling large-scale high traffic websites and with a strong background in technical SEO and content strategy. Experience within a marketplace, e-commerce, or classifieds business is a significant plus.
• Strategic Thinker: You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-backed SEO strategies that have driven significant organic growth.
• Collaborative and Influential: You are an excellent communicator and a natural collaborator. You can effectively work with and influence cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) without direct authority.
• Technically Proficient: You are comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO. You have experience with JS-based websites like React or Next JS. You have hands-on experience with a range of SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Majestic, or similar).
• Data-Obsessed: You are highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets. You are proficient in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics platforms to uncover insights. SQL and/or Python are part of your toolset for data extraction and analysis.
• Up-to-Date: You have a deep understanding of current search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the evolving landscape of AI in search.
• Problem Solver: You are proactive, curious, and enjoy tackling complex challenges.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and Own the SEO Strategy: Design, implement, and lead the comprehensive SEO strategy for , , and milanuncios to drive organic traffic, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Strategic Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert for SEO, providing guidance and strategic direction to multiple product and engineering teams. You will be responsible for translating high-level business goals into actionable SEO roadmaps.
• Technical SEO Excellence: Identify and address technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexability, site architecture, core web vitals, etc.) across all platforms. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into our development lifecycle.
• Content and Keyword Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities. Develop and guide content strategies that align with user intent and search trends.
• AI Transformation: Stay ahead of the curve on the impact of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) on search and content. Develop a forward-thinking strategy to leverage these technologies for competitive advantage while mitigating risks.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions). Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to provide actionable insights and demonstrate the ROI of SEO initiatives.
• Link Building and Outreach: Develop and execute an effective backlink strategy to enhance our domain authority and brand visibility.
• Local and Geo-SEO: Formulate and execute a Geo-SEO strategy to optimize our platforms for local and regional search queries, particularly given the nature of our marketplaces.
• Stakeholder Management: Present findings, strategies, and results to C-level executives and other key stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
