At Auxadi, we are looking for an Accountant and Tax Supervisor to join our International Team in our Madrid offices.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will review and supervise the following tasks of the team:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Adhere to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing:Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts, journal entries, and accruals. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Tax compliance: Monitor and review tax returns (VAT, Personal Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax, among others), ensuring compliance with tax obligations. Stay updated regarding local tax laws and regulations.
- Team management: Provide guidance, training, and support to interns and assistants.
- Client portfolio management: Supervise accounting and tax services for an assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports and filings.
Requisitos
What do you need to be a potential Auxadi member?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in a professional services firm or multinational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of local accounting/tax regulations.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and client reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft BC (Business Central ERP) is a plus.
- Fluent English (C1 or higher) – required.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Client-focused mindset with a drive to deliver excellent service.
