Business Designer

Born and based in Barcelona, Nacar is an award-winning Strategic Design Agency, impassioned by our agile and international team composed of over 90 creative professionals (design strategists, researchers, product and UX / UI designers, engineers, and overall creatives).

We're currently looking for a Business Designer to join one of our international clients based in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona area). You'll play a key role in shaping new business opportunities, connecting user needs, design principles, and strategic thinking to create value-driven solutions that have a global impact.

Important: This position follows a hybrid model, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week.

-What will your day to day be like?-

You will:

• Define user-centered service experiences from research to implementation.

• Facilitate co-creation and alignment workshops, synthesizing insights into actionable business strategies.

• Conduct research and lean experiments to identify and validate new opportunities.

• Develop journey maps, value propositions, and service blueprints to visualize end-to-end experiences.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between user value, business strategy, and feasibility.

• Translate insights into tangible prototypes, presentations, and narratives that inspire decision-making.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Strategists to shape new services and business models in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
  

-What are we looking for?-

• +4 years of experience in business design, service design, or innovation strategy.

• Strategic mindset — ability to connect design decisions with business impact.

• Experience facilitating workshops and ideation sessions, and defining business or service models.

• Deep understanding of Human-Centered Design and lean experimentation methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive "make it happen" attitude.

• Great communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity into clarity.

• Attention to detail and a drive for high-quality outcomes.

• Excellent written and spoken English (Spanish is a plus).

• Good organization and ownership skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Interest in emerging technologies, digital transformation, and innovation.

• Collaborative mindset and strong team spirit.

• Core tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Figma, Miro / FigJam

• Research & testing: UserZoom, Maze, Lookback, Ballpark

• Generative AI: ChatGPT, Midjourney, Copilot Studio (for ideation and concept acceleration)

• Collaboration: Notion, Confluence, Loop

• Nice to have: Adobe CC, analytics tools (Looker Studio, Power BI), or prototyping tools such as Framer or ProtoPie.
