Job Summary:

The MQ Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing IBM MQ (Message Queue) environments to ensure reliable and efficient message transmission across various applications and systems. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting MQ infrastructure to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • MQ Configuration: Set up and configure MQ queues, channels, and listeners.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor MQ performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve MQ-related issues promptly.
  • Security: Implement security measures to protect MQ environments.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of MQ configurations and procedures.
  • Integration: Collaborate with application teams to integrate MQ with various systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience with IBM MQ administration and support.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MQ architecture, protocols, and security.
