Junior Finance Controller
The Junior Controller will play a crucial role in supporting our financial decision-making process. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and implementation of budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Cost Analysis: Perform variance analysis to understand the difference between projected and actual figures, identifying the causes of discrepancies.
- Internal Controls: Help maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial data is accurately represented and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Projects: Participate in special financial projects, including process improvements and the implementation of new financial software tools.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other departments to gather information and explain financial data and trends.
- Compliance: Ensure that financial practices are in line with legal guidelines and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance in the FMCG industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working well in a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
