LHH is currently seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Engineer
to join the new
4PL Control Tower team
of one of our key clients in the
Logistics sector
.

Based in
Zaragoza
, this position will support the development of a
high‑performance logistics structure
for the
European market
, with a strong focus on
operational excellence and cost optimization
, while maintaining high standards of
quality, service level, and technological leadership
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of
    tenders
    , evaluation of results, and development of different scenarios
  • Identification and implementation of
    cost optimization initiatives
    to keep the customer's network at an optimal cost level
  • Support for
    customer negotiations with carriers
  • Ongoing interaction with the customer and relevant carriers within the network
  • Conducting
    business review meetings
    and carrier development activities
  • Coordination with
    internal stakeholders

Requirements and Skills

  • University degree in
    Industrial Engineering
    or
    Business Administration / Business Studies
    (preferably with an international focus), ideally with a
    Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement
  • More than 2 years of experience
    in transport cost optimization
  • Initial experience with
    tendering processes
    and related requirements is a plus
  • Interest in working with
    external carriers
    and taking responsibility for their development
  • Creative,
    solution‑oriented mindset
    with a strong commitment to quality
  • Strong
    communication and presentation skills
    , with the ability to persuade and remain persistent when facing resistance
  • Good command of
    day‑to‑day tools
    : MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and
    Tableau
  • Ability to
    organize own workload and prioritize tasks independently
