Senior Head of Customer Experience (CX)

Location: Barcelona (3-4 days/week on-site)

The role

We're hiring a Senior Head of Finance to build, scale and own the financial backbone of haddock. You will lead Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Legal, ensuring absolute financial rigor while supporting the company's next phase of hypergrowth.

You'll report directly to the CEO, be part of the leadership team, and manage a team of 3. Your mission: maintain financial discipline, protect runway, and design the plan that will take haddock from where we are today to €100M ARR in the coming years while ensuring a clear path to profitability.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role: building and optimising financial models, running forecasting and scenario planning, managing cash weekly, talking to banks and investors, leading fundraising with the CEO, and ensuring we allocate every euro with precision.

Last month we launched the world's first AI Agent for restaurants, and it's already reshaping how operators work day to day.

Over the last 12 months we've doubled ARPU, significantly reduced churn, increased NDR, and we're now ready to operate at a much bigger scale. Finance will be a key engine to get us there.

About youExperience

• 10+ years in Finance / FP&A / Strategy roles in SaaS B2B or high-growth startups.
• Experience managing budgets of millions of euros.
• Proven track record participating in fundraises of €10M+.
• Strong background in FP&A, cash management, budget control and financial modelling.
• Experience working with CEO/founders, investors and banks.
• Experience in consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Experience in M&A is a plus.
• Has supported or led scale-ups moving fast and thinking big.

• Attention to detail is non-negotiable. You understand that cash is king, and the second most scarce resource in a startup.
• Strong operator: you build models, control cash, run analysis and improve processes yourself.
• Strategic thinker: you can translate the company's ambition into financial plans, budgets and scenarios.
• Strong at forecasting, prioritisation, unit economics, and path to profitability.
• Comfortable with tools like Excel/Sheets (advanced), Notion, HubSpot, Holded, Stripe, etc.
• Excellent with investor reporting, board materials and financial storytelling.

What you'll doFinancial planning & control

• Own budget, forecasting, cashflow and long-term financial planning. 
• Maintain weekly visibility on runway, burn and scenario planning.
• Drive discipline across the company and ensure capital is allocated intelligently.
• Track and improve unit economics, CAC payback, and overall financial efficiency.
  

Fundraising & investor relations

• Track and improve unit economics, CAC payback, and overall fina
• Lead fundraising strategy and preparation alongside the CEO. 
• Build and maintain the financial model for future rounds.
• Support investor updates, board meetings and due diligence processes.
• Manage relationships with banks, VC funds, lenders and institutions.

Reporting & FP&A

• Produce monthly financial reporting, variance analysis and insights for the CEO and leadership team.
• Maintain and evolve our financial model (existing one or rebuild).
• Consolidate financial, operational and revenue metrics into a clean and reliable picture.

Operations, Legal & People

• Oversee Legal and Compliance (contracts, risk, corporate governance).
• Lead People/HR operationally (for now), ensuring hiring aligns with the financial plan.
• Ensure processes and systems scale as the company grows.

Process & Scale

• Improve financial processes to support a company transitioning from thousands to tens of thousands of customers.
• Build simple, scalable financial systems that provide clarity and speed.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and rigour across every financial decision.
