The Project Liaison Officer role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Liaison Officer

Within this role you will work on projects within the Asset Management Team as required and provide a pro-active, efficient and effective customer liaison service whilst assist with the co-ordination and production of investment and regeneration projects.

Key duties and responsibilities of our Project Liaison Officer:

• To provide an on-site presence as required preventing and/or resolving customer problems. Identify and signpost repair and vulnerability issues accordingly.
• Carry out lone visits to customer homes to conduct comprehensive tenant inductions before major works, carry out any required follow up visits during the works and a redecoration allowance assessment visit following completion of the works.
• To consult with residents and local members on an individual and collective basis at all stages of project development and delivery.
• To work closely and build excellent working relationships with officers from other Services, contractors and agencies to assist the smooth running of investment and regeneration schemes.
• To have responsibility under the supervision of the Project Manager, for the delivery of schemes, initiatives and programmes ensuring project timetables, budgets and briefs are adhered to.
• To prepare and present reports to senior officers, members and partners as required.

• NVQ Level 3 / equivalent qualifications or proven extensive experience.
• Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with Partners, Contractors, Consultants, Staff and Customers.
• Commitment to the delivery of an excellent customer focused service, and experience of working in a customer focused environment dealing with the public.
• Ability to accurately prepare and present information concisely and clearly.
