HR Manager

Responsibilities

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Hiring:
   Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from role definition to offer closing.
• Culture:
   Act as a guardian of Orbitant's culture, ensuring it's lived day to day and proposing initiatives to strengthen it.
• HR Administration:
   Manage documentation, contracts, and all administrative aspects of the people function.
• Career path development:
   Design and implement career paths that enable professional growth across the team.
• Competency development:
   Identify training needs and coordinate development initiatives.
• Office management and onboarding:
   Coordinate Madrid office logistics and design memorable onboarding experiences.
• Compensation:
   Participate in defining and managing compensation and benefits policies.
• HR handbook and policies:
   Develop and maintain the company handbook and HR policies.
• Payroll management:
   Coordinate with the external payroll provider and ensure all payroll administration is up to date.
• Performance management:
   Design and implement feedback systems, 1:1s, and performance reviews.
• Team events:
   Organize team buildings, offsites, and events that strengthen team cohesion.
• People analytics:
   Define and track key metrics (turnover, time to hire, eNPS, etc.) to enable data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Communication skills and empathy.
• A desire to learn, teach, and build something from scratch.
• Previous experience in a generalist HR role or similar.
• Experience recruiting technical profiles.
• Ability to work autonomously and with initiative.
• Availability to work from Madrid (hybrid model) to attend events, onboardings, and manage the office.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in startups or tech companies.
• Good level of English (for communication with international teams and clients).
• Experience with HR tools and ATS.
• Knowledge of Spanish labor law.
