In your role as a Motion Designer at North, you will be a key player in developing innovative concepts and pushing ideas through to the final outputs. You will design and animate UI designs, transitions, and product flows to craft intuitive and beautifully executed experiences across web, mobile, and other platforms. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, designers, and marketing teams to ensure creative consistency and deliver the highest standards of visual and interactive quality.

As a Motion Designer, here at North, you will…

  • Create engaging motion graphics for digital products, marketing campaigns, and brand assets.
  • Create and animate high-quality UI designs, transitions, and microinteractions that bring product flows to life and elevate the user experience.
  • Demonstrate strong business understanding to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and ensure motion design supports strategic goals.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product designers, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life through motion.
  • Translate static designs into dynamic visuals that align with the brand's tone and voice.
  • Develop storyboards, styleframes, and prototypes to communicate motion concepts clearly.
  • Stay up to date with motion design trends and tools to continuously push creative boundaries.
  • Optimize animations for performance across platforms and devices.
  • Edit and enhance video content for presentations, case studies, or social media.
  • Communicate motion design decisions clearly and advocate for the role of motion in digital experiences.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Proficient in After Effects for high-quality motion design.
  • Solid understanding of UX design principles and best practices.
  • UI Animation experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma / Sketch, Creative Cloud and prototyping tools.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language.
