As the "DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Expert" within LORIOT you will be responsible for two roles, DevOps role by helping the development team on improving the CI/CD pipelines, developing our Kubernetes infrastructure, improving the cloud integrations, and developing monitoring automations. While also actively working in the operations side as an infrastructure expert providing advice and guidance to our clients to follow the best practices on their on-premise instances, having a full visibility of an worldwide IIoT LoRaWAN infrastructure.

DevOps:

Maintaining and improving the CI/CD pipelines

• • Experience on development of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins)
• Well understanding of the Git flow and microservices architecture
• Experience managing Cloud resources (Azure, AWS)
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Industry 4.0 and Lean methodology mindset
  Help LORIOT team on developing integrations between systems
• • Comfortable developing scripts (Python, Bash, JavaScrip)
• Experience working with different API designs (REST, gRPC)
  Implement monitoring tools to monitor our kubernetes deployments
• • Understanding of container architecture (Docker)
• Experience on running applications in Kubernetes (Prometheus, ArgoCD, Helm)
• Experience with monitoring platforms as (Cloudwatch, Icinga, Zabbix)
• Knowledge of real time analysis tools (Splunk, Elastic Stack, Grafana)

Cloud Infrastructure Expert (L3 Support):

• Worldwide Cloud resources administrator (Azure, AWS)
  Infrastructure expert
• • Experience in Load Balancing and High Availability applications (HAProxy, Nginx)
• Comfortable managing Linux instances (Debian, RedHat, SUSE)
• Experience in databases administration and backup procedures (PostgresSQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of message brokers as (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or protocols (MQTT)
• Deep knowledge of PKI infrastructure and OpenSSL
  Experience interacting with clients
• • Fluent in English, any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use
• Ability to prepare and conduct workshops
  Engineering background and systematic, analytical thinking
• • Deep knowledge of Network OSII layers and IT protocols (DNS, TCP, UPD ,SNMP, SMTP)
• Interested in Internet of Things, gadgets, and technology in general

• Certifications(E.g CCNA, MongoDB, AWS, Azure)
