The Role
As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist within the South Europe Regulatory Affairs team (covering France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece), you will manage regulatory requests for a large and strategic customer portfolio, with a particular focus on the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with internal Sales and Technical teams to deliver efficient and responsive regulatory support.
- Representing Symrise's regulatory expertise both internally and externally.
- Acting as the primary regulatory contact for customers, providing consultancy and responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Serving as the internal regulatory expert, informing and training Sales and Technical teams on regulatory developments.
- Coordinating and preparing regulatory documentation for customers.
- Leading global regulatory coordination for one of our key global accounts.
- Representing and advocating for Symrise's interests within the Spanish National Flavor Association.
About you
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the flavor industry, food industry, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
