Introduction To The Vacant Position
The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group is looking for a PostDoc to work

to develop

3D microphysiological platform for high throughput biomaterials testing.Research in the

Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies group is devoted to the development and knowledge

transfer to industry and innovative biomaterials and scaffolds for tissue regeneration.

The contract will be within the framework of "Proyectos Prueba de Concepto" by the I+D+I National Program funded by MICINN.

Main tasks and responsibilities / The successful candidate will develop research involving:

Design and fabrication of lab-on-a-chip and microfluidic devices.

Development and implementation of a microfluidic platforms for biomaterials testing

Interaction with current external collaborators in the same field

Manuscript and reports writting

Requirements For Candidates
Multidisciplinary knowledge in the field of bioengineering

PhD in biomedical engineering, materials engineering or related fields.

Previous experience in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.

Previous experience in imaging techniques (confocal microscopy analysis, life imaging).

Experience in numeric simulations (e.g. COMSOL, etc), and programing (experience in imaging processing e.g. in Python.

Experience in microfabrication techniques/protocols

Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.

High level of English
