Role Mission

To lead the
end-to-end development of food supplements and cosmetic products
, from concept to market launch, ensuring scientific robustness, regulatory feasibility, manufacturing viability, and strong commercial differentiation.

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to
CEO
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    new product development (NPD) projects
    for food supplements and cosmetic products from ideation to commercialization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with
    CMOs, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
    .
  • Propose
    innovative, market-driven formulations
    that are feasible from a manufacturing and regulatory perspective.
  • Select ingredients supported by
    approved claims, regulatory compliance, and/or published clinical evidence
    .
  • Prepare and manage
    technical product documentation
    , including formulations, specifications, and dossiers.
  • Develop
    scientific and clinical support materials
    for Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate closely with
    Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical, and Commercial teams
    .
  • Monitor
    market trends, innovation, and competitive landscape
    in nutraceuticals and cosmetics.
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, and project milestones are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in
    Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology
    , or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience
    in product development within
    food supplements, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, or health products
    .
  • Proven experience managing
    CMOs and external development partners
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    formulation, ingredients, claims, and scientific evidence
    .
  • Ability to translate scientific concepts into
    commercially relevant products
    .
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English
    and Spanish.
