Tu misión

Buscamos un/a
Geospatial Data Scientist
apasionado/a por los
SIG
y la
ciencia de datos geoespacial
, con habilidades sólidas en algoritmia y modelado predictivo. Serás clave en el diseño de modelos inteligentes para procesar, analizar y extraer conocimiento de grandes volúmenes de datos satelitales y urbanos.

Responsabilidades clave

  • Diseñar y optimizar
    algoritmos geoespaciales
    para análisis avanzado (detección de cambios, segmentación, correlación de variables ambientales).
  • Desarrollar
    modelos predictivos y de clasificación
    aplicados a datos ráster.
  • Implementar
    pipelines de datos escalables
    para ingesta y procesamiento masivo de imágenes satelitales (Sentinel, Landsat, comerciales) y sensores urbanos.
  • Poseer conocimiento sobre las bases de la
    teledetección aplicada al medioambiente.
  • Integrar resultados analíticos en sistemas
    backend
    y microservicios de la plataforma.
  • Utilizar librerías como
    GeoPandas, Gdal, Shapely, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch
    .
  • Administrar bases de datos
    PostGIS
    y optimizar consultas sobre grandes
    datasets
    .
  • Colaborar con urbanistas, ingenieros ambientales y equipos de IA para validar modelos.

Requisitos

  • Grado en Ingeniería Geoespacial, Ciencias de la Computación, Matemáticas, Ingeniería Ambiental o similar (se valora Máster/Doctorado).
  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años en proyectos relacionados (desarrollo de
    software
    , análisis de datos y/o SIG) y participación en al menos 1 proyecto de características similares en los últimos 2 años.
  • Conocimientos sólidos en
    Python
    y librerías de ciencia de datos (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) y geoespacial (GeoPandas, Rasterio).
  • Experiencia en
    machine learning
    y
    deep learning
    aplicado a datos espaciales
    y procesamiento de imágenes satelitales.
  • Manejo de bases de datos
    PostGIS
    y nociones de
    big data
    geoespacial.
  • (Deseable) Familiaridad con
    QGIS
    ,
    GeoServer
    y plataformas
    cloud
    (AWS, Azure).
  • Capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas complejos.
  • Inglés fluido escrito y hablado.
