Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer
position.

Are you an accomplished ServiceNow expert with a passion for implementing and governing advanced ServiceNow solutions—especially the AI Control Tower? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, where you will take primary responsibility for the end-to-end implementation of the AI Control Tower platform, drive best practices in AI governance, and mentor teams across the organization.

Your Impact As Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer
As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer specializing in the implementation of the AI Control Tower, you will lead the design, deployment, and governance of ServiceNow's AI Control Tower platform across NN Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring responsible, scalable, and compliant AI adoption, embedding risk-based controls and workflow automation into every AI initiative.

What You Are Going To Do

  • End-to-end implementation of the ServiceNow AI Control Tower, including requirements gathering, architecture, integration, deployment, and ongoing platform management.
  • Design and enforce governance processes for AI assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (AI Act, GDPR, DORA) and internal policies.
  • Integrate the AI Control Tower with existing enterprise systems (e.g., Databricks, Collibra, Active Directory, CMDB) to enable unified management of AI models, datasets, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows for AI asset onboarding, risk assessment, impact analysis, and lifecycle management, leveraging ServiceNow's automation and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive adoption and best practices for AI governance, collaborating with business/product owners, risk and compliance managers, and the AI Center of Excellence.
  • Monitor and report on AI value delivery, productivity, cost avoidance, and risk reduction using the AI Control Tower's dashboards and evidence packs for executive updates and audits.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and cross-functional teams in AI governance, platform usage, and compliance requirements
  • Stay current with AI regulatory developments and ServiceNow platform enhancements, ensuring the AI Control Tower remains future-proof and scalable.

Who You Are

  • An expert in ServiceNow platform engineering with 5+ years of experience, including custom application development, integrations, and platform management.
  • Proficient in developing scoped applications, integrating new functionalities, and managing complex projects. (Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules)
  • Proven experience in implementing or supporting AI governance solutions, preferably with ServiceNow AI Control Tower or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks for AI (AI Act, GDPR, DORA) and experience embedding these into technical solutions.
  • Skilled in workflow automation, risk management, and lifecycle management for AI and data assets.
  • Experience with REST APIs, web services, and data integration patterns for connecting ServiceNow to external platforms.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting), Python (for AI/ML and integration tasks), and familiarity with other languages such as Java, Bash, HTML)
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate technical requirements into business value and compliance outcomes.
