About the Role

We are looking for a
Datamarts Engineer & Developer
to join our BI/Data Warehouse team. This role focuses on enterprise data modeling, data analysis, and close collaboration with internal business departments to translate business needs into robust BI solutions. Report building is only a minor aspect—your main responsibility will be designing, optimizing, and managing data models and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain
    enterprise data models
    and semantic layers.
  • Perform
    data analysis
    and collaborate with business stakeholders for requirements gathering.
  • Define and implement
    KPIs
    aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and optimize
    Power BI datasets
    and semantic models.
  • Manage
    Power BI Premium Capacity
    , including:
  • Query cost management
  • Workspace administration & governance
  • Security & access control
  • Implement
    Row-Level Security (RLS)
    and data governance practices.
  • Optimize
    T-SQL queries
    , stored procedures, and DAX measures for performance.
  • Manage
    data dependencies
    , partitioning, and incremental refresh strategies.
  • Support and collaborate with key users of
    Power BI / Fabric
    .
  • Stay up-to-date with
    cloud technologies
    and adapt to evolving tools.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Power BI (Advanced)
    : Service administration, governance, complex DAX, time intelligence.
  • SQL Server / Azure
    : Advanced T-SQL for data import, transformation, and set-based processing.
  • Data Modeling
    : TMDL, Tabular Object Model (TOM), advanced model management.
  • Performance optimization for
    T-SQL
    ,
    Power BI semantic models
    , and
    DAX queries
    .
  • Data Governance
    and security best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with
    GIT
    and version control best practices.
  • Familiarity with
    Visual Studio Code
    .
  • Power Query / M
    for data transformation.
  • Integration with 
    Microsoft 365
    (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Data visualization & storytelling skills.
  • Dashboard design for diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong abstraction and analytical skills for requirements and data modeling.
