The Internship

What we offer you

At XOTELS, you will be working alongside our digital marketing team. On one side, you will be working for our Hotel Clients (SEO, advertisement, web maintenance & design, analytics, technical implementations and reporting to the clients), as well as getting to experience our B2B side of marketing (overall strategy, SEO, content marketing, social media, analytics, and technical implementations at junior-level. Digital Marketing Intern (Intern)

Job Location

Based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid between working from home and the office).

The Mission of the Role

The Hotel Marketing Intern will be responsible for the research and content management for the company and hotel client websites/media channels in a search engine-optimised way following the latest web standards and best practices.

Reports To

• Marketing Team

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide internal feedback on strategy opportunities by performing competitor research.
• Analyse the impact of actions by using measurement tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.
• Communicate status to team members and management.
• Development and maintenance of content for our portfolio of hotel and corporate websites in a variety of languages and using WordPress
• Responsible for On-page SEO, launch and update of landing pages.
• Development and maintenance of Social Media accounts for our portfolio of hotel and corporate websites.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Studying in Hotel, Tourism or Marketing related fields
• Previous experience with WordPress and/or Social Media is a plus
• Experience working in the travel sector and/or marketing is a plus
• Must be an EU Citizen or in possession Spanish work visa
• Only submissions in English will be considered.
• Must speak high-level English and at least 1 other language (e.g. Spanish / French / German / Dutch)
