Assaia offers AI-based computer-vision solutions that monitor and analyse aircraft turnaround processes from video streams. Assaia's solutions help airports and airlines improve on-time performance, efficiency, safety, and sustainability metrics, helping them get their passengers to their destinations on time. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain internal tools including the deployment system.
  • Build and enhance the core platform that supports the company's product suite.
  • Implement advanced automation and integration solutions across multi-cloud (GCP, AWS) and on-premise (bare-metal) environments.
  • Automate cloud resource provisioning and develop robust CI/CD pipelines for various services.
  • Participate in infrastructure modernization, focusing on service usage on Kubernetes and adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
  • Proactively monitor, optimize, and ensure the high availability, security, and performance of all production and development environments.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a dedicated DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Deep expertise with major cloud providers (GCP and/or AWS).
  • Expert-level knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, GKE, or EKS).
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and complex Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in coding with Bash and Python.
  • Good Linux knowledge, ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
  • Good understanding of networks (including routing, private network technologies, internetworking, cloud networks, etc).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Very good verbal and written English skills (at least B2+).
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with qbec, jsonnet/libsonnet.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt).
