Design Engineer- Photovoltaic Structures

1、DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering Activities:
· Perform engineering calculations using Finite elements models and CAD software to solve problems in Tracker and Fixed Structure Calculation, designing and ensuring compliance with all relevant design standards
· Develop and maintain tools and processes for structural design and analysis.
· Layout Verification
· Local Standard calculation adaptation
· Wind tunnel test loads interpretation
R&D activities:
· Support at University Test field. Set up of prototypes and electrical/control system.
· Participate in New Products design and calculation and New Products tests.
Offer Support:
· Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams, clients, and partners on structural aspects of both Tracker and Fixed Structure projects.
· Work-load optimization and organization
Field Support:
· Occasional visit to Solar Plant sites to give support to activities
· Help with supervising the construction and commissioning of the Solar Plant.
2、MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering major.
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in the solar tracker industry or 3 years in a similar industry
· Experience with 3D CAD software, Ansys preferred
· Self-motivated team player
