About The Opportunity
You will work in the Banking Foundations domain. Its mission for N26 is to provide secure and compliant banking services that are frictionless and innovative for customers, while enabling efficient operations and informed decision-making for our staff. We achieve this through robust customer identity verification, proactive risk management, and seamless customer support. This foundation enables N26 to achieve sustainable growth while maintaining the highest levels of trust with our customers and regulators.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and interesting problems on a daily basis.

In This Role, You Will

• Implement new features in our internal web applications as well as integrations with AI models and automation systems on an ongoing basis.
• Work in the integration of multiple systems, including AI models, to enable our backoffice teams.
• Be in direct contact with the users of our applications to gather new requirements to improve their user experience and productivity.
• Actively discuss implementation details and software architecture together with the other colleagues from our Data Science, RPA, Backend and Front-end teams.
• Work together with the product development teams and other departments who are using our internal tools.
• Embrace change and daily challenges while following the principles of the Agile development methodology.

What You Need To Be Successful

• Firm grasp of object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
• Professional attitude towards software craftsmanship including testing and a passion for reading and writing good documentation.
• Knowledge of modern Typescript and modern web development tools.
• Good understanding of and experience in using it for the development of web services and libraries (npm packages) or command line applications.
• Recent experience with React for the development of web applications and their integration with backend APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Understanding on Distributed Systems principles and patterns.
• Know-how about relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of DevOps and CI /CD practices.
• Knowledge of Kotlin and Spring Boot will be a strong plus.
• Python knowledge and experience using GenAI frameworks (e.g. Langchain, Ollama, RAG pipelines) is a plus.
• Strong drive towards action and knowledge sharing, always willing to be helped and help others.
