If you are an experienced
Content Manager
with strong editorial skills, hands-on social media experience, and a good eye for visuals, this freelance role might be for you.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, draft and coordinate
    social media content across multiple channels
    for Frontiers and our clients
  • Own
    copywriting and editing
    for long-form content, including blog articles, newsletters, opinion pieces, and advertorials
  • Translate complex narratives, messaging, and corporate topics into
    clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate content
  • Create
    simple visual assets
    (e.g. social visuals, placards, basic video content), with proficiency in Canva considered a major plus
  • Support
    content planning and scheduling
    , ensuring a continuous and consistent stream of high-quality content
  • Ensure content aligns with overall messaging, tone of voice, and brand guidelines
  • Manage multiple content tasks and timelines simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and reliability

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in
    content management, social media, or digital communications
    , ideally in a corporate or media-driven environment
  • Strong experience with
    LinkedIn
    ; familiarity with X, Threads, and Bluesky is a plus
  • Excellent
    English skills at native or near-native level
    ; German language skills are a plus
  • Solid understanding of
    corporate messaging, media, and reputation-sensitive communications
  • Ability to quickly grasp new topics, narratives, and strategic messaging and translate them into effective content
  • Strong
    project management skills
    with a structured, detail-oriented working style
  • Basic
    graphic design skills
    for digital content; experience creating visuals and short-form videos in Canva is highly valued
  • Experience in the
    aviation or tourism-related sector
    is a plus

Scope & Availability

  • Freelance role, approximately
    15–20 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours with reliable availability and clear communication
