The Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our payment application and its supporting infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant deployment within the company's defined timelines.

This position plays a key role in supporting the R&D Department during the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our payment application, a strategic system critical to operational and business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform the initial installation and configuration of our payment application across environments.
  • Manage system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure performance, stability, and compliance.
  • Install and configure Windows Server 2016 or higher and SQL Server Standard and Enterprise 2016 or higher database engines.
  • Set up and manage virtual machines using VMWare and Hyper-V environments.
  • Perform backup, recovery, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Administer network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, IP addressing, subnetting, and related settings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and stakeholders to align installations with security and operational requirements.
  • Document all installation, configuration, and maintenance processes to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
  • Provide technical support during and after deployment to ensure seamless operation.

Requirements and skills 

  • Formative cycle or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure support, system installation, or network administration.
  • Proven hands-on experience with:
  1. Installation and configuration of Windows Server 2016 and higher
  2. Installation and configuration of SQL server Standard and Enterprise 2016 and higher database engines.
  3. Installation and configuration of virtual machines on VMWare, HyperV.
  4. Backup and recovery, Troubleshooting.
  5. Knowledge and features of LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, IP addressing, masks, Subnetting.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
