Job Description
As a controller you will serve as the company's go-to person for all matters related to finance and accounting and play a critical role in financial planning, reporting and analysis, supporting key management decisions. The regular contact with the global accounting team, other controllers and especially the intensive interaction with the business is absolutely key to be successful in this function.

The activities in the team result in a very dynamic working environment, taking up different challenges, close to the heart of the company and with a good balance between routine operations and ad hoc work.

You will be part of our finance team and will report to the Finance Director Technology.

Your main areas of responsibility are:

  • Support the Finance Director with various analysis and preparations needed for consolidated business meetings
  • Create and challenge the monthly analysis of actuals in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends
  • Discuss the figures, trends and conclusions with your respective business and give support to make strategic future-based decisions
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Support with the setup of quarterly forecast and annual budget
  • Interact with local accounting teams and local management
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support (senior) management with financial decisions
  • Participate in local and global initiatives for continuous improvement

Profile

  • Master degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similar
  • You have 3-5 years of relevant working experience within finance, with a first controlling experience
  • You are pro-active, have a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude
  • You have strong communication & problem-solving skills
  • You are eager to learn
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP4Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI is a plus
