About the team:
As a cross-functional team, ERP-Tec supports a variety of SAP services for internal customers and product teams within the Otto Group. Our nine-member team—based in Germany and Spain—works across system lines on topics such as authorizations, release processes, ABAP & UI5 development, data provisioning, audit support, interface management and monitoring with SAP Cloud ALM. You'll benefit from continuous technical growth through hands-on experience and training on the job. Work with a diverse range of systems and projects to broaden your expertise and take over new challenges.

Your responsibilities:
  • Take an active role in the technical application management of our SAP systems, working closely with our in-house SAP Basis team.
  • Focus on ensuring the continuous operation of three SAP S/4 system lines, including interface management, job monitoring and batch processing.
  • Support S/4 upgrades and coordinate activities (e.g., SPDD and SPAU comparison) as part of a collaborative team effort.
  • Contribute to housekeeping tasks such as data volume management and help set up RFC connections, interfaces, jobs and master data distribution for our internal customers.
  • Help automate operational monitoring by setting up alerts and managing release cycles in ALM tools.
  • Work together with colleagues to solve technical challenges, recover jobs, and provide data extracts via DaRT and legacy systems.


What's your story?
  • Above one year of experience in technical SAP application management, support, or change and release management is helpful—but not required for all tasks.
  • Willingness to develop your skills in technical and operational automation & monitoring; you'll have the chance to explore alerting with SAP Cloud ALM.
  • An agile mindset is a fundamental requirement: openness to change, collaboration, and continuous learning are at the core of how we work.
  • Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
  • Good English skills, written and spoken.
Nice to have (if applicable): 
  • First experience with Azure or Jira Boards.
  • Basic know-how of the FI module.
  • German language skills welcome
