Front Office Python Developer - Energy & Commodities Trading

In this role, you will help design, build, enhance, and support business-critical applications, while working closely with internal users and promoting best development practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications that meet business requirements.

Support and enhance existing applications, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve them.

Provide guidance and technical support to internal users who develop their own tools.

Troubleshoot issues efficiently to ensure reliable operation of business-critical systems.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using Pandas.

Good understanding of the energy trading market

Experience providing 1st or 2nd level support for business-critical applications.

Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.

Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.

Solid knowledge of Excel

Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Personal Attributes

Able to work under pressure and manage urgent situations effectively.

Result-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
