Job Description

The
Video Editor Assistant Intern
is responsible for producing high-quality video content tailored to each platform and project. This role focuses on transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories through precise editing, thoughtful storytelling, and consistent brand alignment.

You will work closely with the creative team to assemble and refine clips, add music and graphics, ensure smooth pacing, and elevate each asset to meet our production standards.

This position also involves supporting the integration of video deliverables into client campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw video material into polished, professional content for corporate, commercial, and social media purposes.
  • Add graphics, music, subtitles, transitions, and effects to craft cohesive visual narratives aligned with project goals.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience behavior to contribute fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Support the creative team during productions and on-site shoots when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar).
  • Knowledge or strong interest in the fashion, beauty, and perfume industries is a plus.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Trello, Notion, or other productivity tools is valued.

Languages:

  • English: mandatory (minimum B1)
  • Spanish: not required
  • Availability to work in Madrid, including participation in on-site productions when necessary.
  • Studies or a background in audiovisuals or related fields will be valued.
  • Being active on social media, creative, and extroverted will be considered a plus (but not a responsibility of the role).

  • 6 hour work schedule: 12:00–18:00.
  • Internship duration: 3 months (Erasmus) or 6 months (standard internships).

Learning Opportunities:

  • (Optional and available upon request, outside working hours. Not mandatory.)
  • Training in video editing using Premiere Pro.
  • Training in text-based and generative AI.
  • Training in artistic photography*
  • All equipment and cameras will be available to the intern.

At the end of the internship, if expectations are met, a Junior position may be offered with a minimum 12-month contract commitment.
