Airfreight Manager

To support our ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Barcelona, Spain, conveniently located at CargoParc, Josep Tarradellas Airport, as an Airfreight Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily airfreight operations.
• Monitor service levels.
• Monitor and supervise the operational team.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships.
• Support Sales Teams.
• Monitor profitability.
• Oversee DG good handling.
• Implement and audit operational SOP's.
• Coordinate with overseas offices and partners.
• Monitor market trends.

Requirements:

• Proficient in English.
• Leadership and Team management: ability to lead, motivate and manage a team.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, airlines, customs authorities and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge on Regulation and Compliance: up-to-date understanding of international, airfreight regulations, safety standards, Dangerous Goods and Customs Regulations
• IT savvy.
• Financial principles: for budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis.
