, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a Head of Toolchain Management to join our
Digital Profile Factory (DPF)
in Barcelona.

DPF leverages cutting-edge technology to create seamless, end-to-end integration solutions — from customer requirement gathering to product delivery. We design and configure xUICC (eSIM) profiles for network operators, enabling mobile devices to connect to cellular networks without physical SIM cards.

Our work includes providing essential data to manufacturing sites and enhancing eSIM management solutions. We are also pioneering the development of the IDSP platform, setting new standards in digital profile management.

Our goal is to deliver reliability, process optimization, and advanced self-service features while maintaining our reputation as a trusted global service provider.

The
Head of Toolchain Management
is a key member of the DPF leadership team and reports directly to the Global Head of DPF.

This role has full ownership of DPF's IT strategy, architecture, and technology roadmap, ensuring that our tools and systems ecosystem supports current operations and future business growth.

You will lead the Toolchain Management department, drive innovation in technology design and architecture, and ensure our IT infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Architecture

  • Develop and lead the Toolchain Management department and its strategic direction.
  • Define, implement, and maintain the DPF IT architecture roadmap, aligned with business and operational priorities.
  • Establish architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks across DPF.
  • Serve as the design authority for the evolution of DPF's IT and technology landscape.
  • Maintain a complete inventory of systems, tools, databases, and IT interfaces within DPF.

Technology Development and Innovation

  • Design a scalable and future-proof toolchain architecture addressing current and future needs.
  • Oversee systems and tool integration to ensure seamless, efficient operations.
  • Evaluate new technologies for data exchange, analytics, storage, and management.
  • Lead innovation and transformation in system design, architecture, and data management.
  • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure alignment with DPF's IT strategy and standards.

Performance, Risk, and Compliance

  • Dimension hardware and software infrastructure to meet performance KPIs and service requirements.
  • Ensure overall system stability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Identify and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, GSMA, and other relevant regulations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with R&D, sales, and MNO operations teams to align technology with business needs.
  • Partner with portfolio management and internal stakeholders to guide architecture decisions from early project stages.
  • Manage the full IT and R&D budget for the DPF environment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive process automation, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in toolchain architecture.
  • Collect and translate system requirements into actionable elements of the toolchain roadmap.
  • Continuously refine architecture processes to optimize performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT systems architecture, infrastructure management, or enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record in enterprise architecture or as a design authority for large-scale IT systems.
  • Expertise in systems integration, database management, and IT infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of scalable architectures, high-performance computing, and data frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and make-or-buy decisions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/S4HANA) and R&D IT landscapes is an advantage.
