Job Description

  • Develop and implement global clinical development strategies for innovative therapies.
  • Oversee clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing clinical development team, fostering talent and optimising processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including investigators, KOLs, and regulatory agencies.
  • Represent the company at major scientific meetings, advisory boards, and regulatory interactions.
  • Ensure that the company's tax structure is aligned with its objectives and strategy.
  • Maintain the company's tax policies in compliance with current legislation in each country.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure tax compliance.
  • Participate in strategic Proof of Concept (POC) projects related to taxation.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to optimise the company's tax burden.
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Propose and review team objectives to achieve agreed operational results.
  • Act as a liaison partner with external advisors and translate their solutions to the internal team.

The Successful Applicant

  • M.D. with 15+ years of relevant experience in clinical development, preferably in oncology or autoimmune diseases.
  • Proven track record in global Phase I-III trials and regulatory engagement (NMPA/FDA).
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams and complex projects.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English; strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Higher education in Law, Economics, or a related field, with a specialisation in taxation.
  • In-depth knowledge of international and local tax regulations applicable to the sector.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and global tax projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Professional-level proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
