The Role

As an OpenShift and Azure Cloud Specialist , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing container environments and cloud solutions across hybrid and multicloud platforms. You will ensure service availability, security, and scalability while collaborating closely with development and operations teams to optimize infrastructure and processes.

Hybrid work model: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Availability: Participation in on-call rotations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy architectures based on OpenShift and Kubernetes , ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Administer Azure Cloud and IBM Cloud environments, including configuration, monitoring, and resource optimization.
  • Implement security policies, access control, and compliance standards in cloud and container environments.
  • Automate processes using scripts and DevOps tools to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into containerized environments.
  • Manage updates, patches, and continuous improvements for cloud and OpenShift platforms.
  • Document procedures, architectures, and configurations to ensure traceability and best practices.
    Participate in critical incident resolution and root cause analysis.

Who You Are

Minimum experience: 4–5 years in:

  • OpenShift (implementation, administration, troubleshooting)
  • Kubernetes (cluster management, networking, security)
  • Azure Cloud Administration (resource management, policies, monitoring)
  • IBM Cloud (service configuration and deployment)

Additional valued skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD)
  • Automation with Ansible , Terraform , and scripting (bash, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of cloud security , identity management, and compliance
  • Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Languages

  • Spanish (required)
  • Intermediate English
  • Catalan (preferred)

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
  • Preferred: Certifications in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Azure (e.g., CKA , Azure Administrator Associate )
