Location:
Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid, 3 days in the office in Barcelona)

Compensation:

Overview

We have been retained to find an experienced modeler to play a critical role in the further development of the company's pipeline. This will be the first dedicated hire to focus exclusively on Modeling & Simulation activities – until now this work has been carried out by a couple of Principal Scientists within the wider DMPK group who have done some PKPD, PopPK and PBPK modelling as a part of their wider role, but now is the time for a dedicated expert in this space.

As such, this is a genuinely impactful and visible role within a well established employee, commercial stage), yet high growth (continued multi year double digit growth) sponsor company.

You will not only be the in house, go to expert in all things Modelling & Simulation, but you'll also be responsible for leading the implementation of currently unavailable M&S tools and capabilities such as NONMEM & Phoenix WinNonLin.

We require somebody who will be able to be office based in Barcelona. If you're not already in Barcelona then we are prepared to support your relocation to the area with a comprehensive relocation package including both financial and logistical support.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of Modelling & Simulation. Specifically, PKPD Modelling.
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a related field (Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Applied Mathematics etc.)
  • Good understanding of translational medicine aspects to connect preclinical and clinical DMPK.
  • Proven skills in PKPD, PBPK, PopPK and/or longitudinal disease modelling.
  • Proficiency and extensive experience with modelling software such as MATLAB, Phoenix, NONMEM and others.
