Job Description:

Some call it IT Specialist, some call it Computer Wizard, but at UPS we call it TSG Specialist. TSG stands for Technology Support Group. We are looking for a new Specialist and this could be you Of course we have the best logistics network in the world, but can you help us build the best online network? In this role you are the star of the match every single day Because without this network, we are nowhere But of course we are looking for someone that does more than just troubleshooting. We are looking for someone that brings new ideas to the table, takes initiative and makes a name for him- or herself If you are not afraid of a challenge, or to challenge your colleagues, then make sure you apply asap, so we can kickstart your career If you can read this , then come and say it in the interview

Your daily business:

This is impossible to describe, as every day is different. And if we say every day, we mean every day If you are looking for a predictable job, then please don't apply. This job is not for the fainthearted.

• You are very strong at planning hard- and software maintenance, you perform network management and provide technical advice and training to customers and colleagues;
• Troubleshooting, because that is what is needed to improve our network. But of course you need to coordinate with your colleagues for this;
• Of course the usual stuff like installing, deploying and upgrading the UPS network, you know the drill;
• Some auditing, just to check how good you did your work;
• Working in various locations, both at UPS facilities as at customers. So looking for a varied job? Here it is

What we expect from you:

• At least a vocational degree. University degree will be valued. IT related qualifications preferred;
• Of course a Driver License, good English level and work experience is appreciated;
• Your motherboard start working harder when solving problems and you do this pro-actively;
• You are your own "Task Manager" (get it?;)) and don't CRTL + ALT + DELETE yourself when there is pressure. Oooh and there is pressure Everybody wants something from you
• Of course a healthy dose of humor and social skills are required. You need to work with people to obtain the best results
• We are not micromanaging at UPS, so you need to be pro-active and able to manage your own day, without us needing to chase you
• It goes without saying, but your computer/Excel skills are above and beyond;
• Driving License;
• Flexibility is essential due to occasional travel and weekend work and the flexibility to work beyond regular working hours.
• 2 shifts rotation (3pm-11pm /01pm-09am)
