IT Procurement Project Manager - Leading Pharmaceutical Client

We're partnering with a
leading global pharmaceutical organisation
embarking on a major digital transformation and looking for an experienced
Digital Procurement Functional Expert
to act as the key Digital Point of Contact for Procurement Value Projects.

You'll play a pivotal role in supporting both the
business and system integrator
across design, Proof of Concept (PoC), and full implementation phases of multiple strategic procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the
    Digital lead
    for procurement transformation projects, bridging business needs with technical delivery.
  • Assess digital impact across integrations, business-as-usual (BAU) processes, configuration, cutover, and data migration.
  • Execute and validate end-to-end test scenarios to ensure solution quality and alignment with business requirements.
  • Evaluate multiple solution options during PoC, balancing pros and cons-including build costs and ongoing BAU implications.
  • Define and validate project timelines covering design, build, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Digital Framework and methodology.

Current Initiatives Include:

  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
    process redesign with AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Tail spend optimisation
    , including RFX process improvements and catalogue management with new business tool integration.
  • Category savings enablement
    , supporting data reporting and implementation of new invoicing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years
    of Procurement project and BAU experience in large multinational organisations.
  • Proven
    Project Management
    experience within digital procurement transformations.
  • Expertise in
    Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
    tools such as
    Icertis, Coupa, ORO,
    or
    SAP Ariba
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    sourcing and RFX processes
    (Coupa, SAP Ariba, Fairmarkit).
  • Experience with
    catalogue management
    and
    invoicing receipt channels
    (VIM, Coupa, OCRs).
