About the Role:
At
VISITRAIN
, an innovative company in the visual health sector, we have been awarded the prestigious
NEOTEC
grant by CDTI. We are looking to hire a
PhD (Doctor)
in Computer Science, Multimedia Engineering, or related fields to join our R&D team. You will lead the technological architecture and development of our new digital visual therapy platform.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of video game technology (Serious Games), data science, and clinical health.

Your Mission & Responsibilities:
As the Technical Lead of the project, your role will cover the full software lifecycle, from design to data security. Your main tasks, within the NEOTEC framework, will be:

  • Therapeutic Game Design & Development:
  • Technical and functional design of video games for the treatment of different visual defects.

  • Implementation and programming of game mechanics based on rigorous clinical protocols.

  • Quality Assurance & Software Architecture:

  • Defining the technical architecture to ensure high-quality graphics and optimal performance.

  • Executing testing plans, change control, and debugging to guarantee system robustness.

  • Data Engineering & Cybersecurity:

  • Creating a secure clinical data repository.
  • Implementing advanced cybersecurity measures for the filtering, processing, and storage of sensitive data.
  • Ensuring the technological scalability of the platform for the medium and long term.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Education:
    PhD (Doctorate)
    degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Multimedia Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Proven experience in development with game engines (Unity 3D / Unreal Engine).
  • Strong knowledge of databases, backend architecture, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to work autonomously in an R&D environment.
