Descripció de l'oferta

A biotechnology start-up in Barcelona is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Technician to join its team.
The role requires experience working in regulated environments with formal IT processes, security controls, and documentation practices. The IT Technician will support the maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring secure operations, proper access control, and compliance with privacy regulations.

The hired person will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimising the company's information technology infrastructure, ensuring full compliance with the ISO 27001 standard. The candidate will provide technical support to internal teams, manage IT systems and cloud environments, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS).

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and secure access across company systems.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support for devices, applications, and cloud services.
  • Deploy, configure, and secure company laptops using Intune and endpoint protection tools.
  • Coordinate with external MSPs for escalated issues and infrastructure support.
  • Monitor system health, apply updates, and assist with backup and restore tasks.
  • Support IT/security incident reporting and basic evidence collection.
  • Help maintain IT inventories, documentation, and records.
  • Contribute to security and data protection practices aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA safeguards.

Contract type: Permanent
Weekly hours: 20
Schedule: Flexible, from 9–10 a.m. to 1–2 p.m.
Annual gross salary: Negotiable, in the €19,000–€22,000 range.



Requisits
  • Required qualifications and skills 

    • Required degree: Vocational training or higher education in Computer Science, 
    Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related technical field. Equivalent 
    practical experience will also be considered. 

    • Speciality: Additional certifications or training in information security, systems 
    administration, or cloud computing (e.g., AWS) will be strongly valued. 

    • Experience:  
    o 3+ years in IT administration, technical support, or network/system 
    management. 
    o Experience working in environments aligned with ISO 27001 and quality 
    standards. 
    o Knowledge of access control, data protection, and basic risk management. 
    o Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune/MDM, Windows/Mac devices, and 
    endpoint security. 
    o Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred). 
    o Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
