Master Data Operations Manager (Hands-on)

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the
    primary escalation point
    during critical business moments, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Investigate issues directly in
    SAP
    and
    SQL
    , providing actionable fixes.
  • Drive projects for
    process optimization
    ,
    tool development
    , and
    innovation
    .
  • Monitor and report on key data metrics (data quality, SLA adherence, backlog status).
  • Design and maintain
    data workflows
    integrated with SAP and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with global teams across geographies and business functions.
  • Conduct
    design thinking
    and requirements workshops with stakeholders.
  • Engage in all phases: preparation, conception, realization, and go-live.
  • Integrate
    3rd party data
    and support advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Support QA and development of internal tools and automation flows.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for transparency and reproducibility.
  • Contribute to dashboards and reporting tools for operational visibility.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with
    SAP MM, SD and/or FI
    ; SAP consultant background is a strong plus.
  • High level of SQL expertise (mandatory)
    for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Experience with
    Alteryx, Snowflake, Denodo
    is a strong plus.
  • Expertise in
    data governance
    ,
    data quality management
    , and process optimization.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Experience managing initiatives using
    Agile methodologies
    (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in
    English
    .
  • Technical degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, including
    GenAI/agentic AI
    .
