As the Local Change Lead, you will be at the forefront of enabling change in your market for the Unify program, a transformational initiative designed to make Imperial Brands more efficient, simplified, and data-led. This program is a long-term, high-impact investment, spanning 15 months to go-live and 12 months of stabilisation, and its success depends on your ability to guide people, processes, and teams through the change.
You will manage the local change plan, drive adoption of new processes and ways of working, coordinate communication, engage local leaders, and support training and readiness activities. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that markets and factories not only adopt the changes but also realise tangible benefits from them.
This is a key role for someone with a passion for people, change, and transformation. You will help unlock the potential of Unify locally, ensuring employees feel ready, informed, and confident as new processes and systems are embedded.
**Please note that this role is for 18 months starting January 2026 and ending June 2027
Principle Accountabilities**
- Lead and execute the Local Change Management Plan, driving adoption of global processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate change objectives, and manage expectations.
- Support local change network and super users, including conducting impact assessments and preparing action plans.
- Facilitate training scheduling and readiness activities, ensuring alignment with programme plans.
- Partner with internal communications teams to create engaging local communications and engagement plans.
- Monitor and report on change progress, assessing effectiveness and recommending improvements.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong understanding of local business operations and ability to engage with global functions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills across diverse audiences.
- Ability to work creatively and deliver results in ambiguous, complex environments.
- Experience using tools for planning, reporting, and communication (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Viva Engage).
- Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with multi-cultural teams.
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to driving successful change adoption.
