About The Role
Are you ready to dive into complex business environments and contribute to high-impact recommendations that drive client success? As an Intern at FTI Consulting, you will be immersed in a dynamic and collaborative working environment where our experienced consultants will mentor you in the journey to identify challenges, perform in-depth analysis and generate insights that shape strategic decisions.

This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. You will be expected to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. You will have the opportunity to work closely with recognized experts in small teams that encourage and reward collaboration.

You will be part of our Business Transformation team within our Strategy and Transformation practice at FTI Consulting , a team that brings together top-tier consultants and former industry executives to deliver practical, actionable solutions . Our work spans from strategic planning to hands-on execution, enabling business transformation that drives sustainable performance and long-term value, ensuring that we not only design solutions but also help our clients implement them effectively. • Location(s): Madrid, Barcelona - candidates will be asked to indicate their preference during the application process.

What You'll Do

• Provide support in day to day activities of projects including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel.
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., market sizing, market modeling, strategic planning, assessing business plans, etc.).
• Supporting the development of strategic plans, business transformation and integration of companies.
• Drafting of client presentations as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
• Assisting in the development of pitch books and other marketing materials.
• Conducting research on public and private companies and various industries.

How You'll Grow
This is an excellent opportunity for a person with strong interest in Strategy / Business Transformation who wants to provide:

• Analytical and operational services to companies and its stakeholders experiencing business turnaround and growth opportunities;
• Support other Corporate Finance teams if required across multiple industries and project types including mergers & acquisitions, financings, and restructuring; And learn analytical, strategic and business skills through broad exposure to both junior and senior consultants / clients, that will prepare you for a full-time career in Business Transformation / Strategy.

You Will Need to Succeed
Basic Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor's degree or completing a master's program with a graduation date before June 202 7
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent graduate, or pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Management, Finance, Engineering or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A logical and lateral thinker, who is intellectually curious, highly organized, and structured
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and add value in an international environment
• A team player, who can work in a truly diverse setting, possessing cultural awareness
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) in a professional environment
• Strong interest for business transformation, market modelling and strategic planning.
• Fluency in English and Spanish. Other languages would be a key asset.
