Our Facilities Engineering division is dedicated to a wide range of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with leading clients in the petrochemical, chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, food, construction, and civil engineering sectors.

We are looking for a Senior Construction Engineer with extensive experience in the design and construction of civil and structural projects to join a large-scale project based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in complex construction projects, preferably in airport infrastructure, and specific experience in projects similar to underpasses.

The position involves key participation throughout the project execution phase, providing technical leadership, on-site coordination, and support to the management team.

Project duration: minimum 4 years.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise civil and structural works in the field.
  • Coordinate execution in accordance with designs, technical specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Review and validate technical design and construction solutions.
  • Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and external consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, deadline, and cost standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and the design team.
  • Participate in technical and follow-up meetings with the client and stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks and propose efficient construction solutions.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the design and construction of civil and structural projects.
  • Proven experience in projects similar to underpasses.
  • Experience in airport projects (highly valued).
  • Ability to lead technical teams on site.
  • Very good level of English, both spoken and written.
  • Availability to work in Dublin for the duration of the project.
  • Strong planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

The following will be valued:

  • Previous experience in Ireland or on international projects.
  • Knowledge of Irish technical and safety regulations.
