Description
As a Big Data BI Engineer, you'll join a trailblazing team dedicated to building innovative solutions that empower business users with self-service analytics. We are looking for a hard-working, responsible, and open-minded individual who is willing to take ownership of their work and has a passion for learning.

Our team prides itself on being all-rounders, using a variety of cutting-edge technologies. The core of our work revolves around
Qlik Sense
, our primary dashboarding tool. We create multiple sets of dashboards to serve both internal and external stakeholders, and we also embed them into back offices.

To support our work, we extract data from various sources, so a basic understanding of traditional
SQL
is essential. Our main data platform technology is
ClickHouse
. We are big on automation to maximize our focus on creating valuable products, and for this, we use
Python
to build our CI/CD pipelines and automate our releases. Python also helps us trigger jobs on Qlik Sense. Furthermore, we leverage Python to create API calls used in combination with
HTML
and
JavaScript
to build custom extensions in Qlik Sense, elevating our product offerings.

Our day-to-day tools also include
TeamCity
for job integration and
BitBucket
for source control.

  • Sound knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Looker, Domo or Tableau
  • Applied understanding of source control methodologies (Git, SVN)
  • Applied understanding of CI/CD
  • Excellent team player
  • Meticulous and passionate about your work
  • Knowledge of languages such as Python and JavaScript
