About the Unit

In Deimos, a company within Indra Group, we are shaping the future of space technology through pioneering missions in Earth observation, satellite communications, and scientific exploration. Our Systems Engineering Competence Centre is responsible for the overall technical architecture and development of space systems, End-to-End missions, and satellite platforms—from initial concept definition through on-orbit operations.

What will you do?

• Take technical leadership of ongoing and future End-to-End space missions, working closely with the Project Office (PMO).
• Provide technical direction and leadership to the engineering team.
• Develop and manage the technical baseline for spacecraft.
• Lead the preparation and execution of major design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with spacecraft requirements.
• Develop engineering documents such as specifications, interface control documents, and test plans.
• Assess and approve technical completion and compliance.
• Oversee production and delivery of spacecraft.
• Collaborate across all subsystems and advise teams on innovative solutions.

What are we looking for?

Aerospace Engineering degree (preferred).

More than 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

Proven experience as Space Missions Chief Engineer with technical leadership responsibilities.

Detailed knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems.

Familiarity with space-related analysis and design tools (e.g., CATIA, NASTRAN/PATRAN, ESATAN, FASTRAD).

Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

English level: B2 minimum.

Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
