NEW OPPORTUNITY | Senior SAP FI – Banking Consultant

IKONS Ibérica
, we are partnering with a
leading multinational company in the industrial sector
to recruit a
Senior SAP FI – Banking Consultant
to join their international finance organization. This role is key within the SAP Finance landscape, with strong ownership over banking, treasury and financial integration processes in complex, high-volume environments.


Your Role

You will act as a senior SAP FI Banking expert, supporting and optimizing
banking, treasury and cash-related processes
in
SAP S/4HANA and ECC
. You will work closely with finance stakeholders, FI managers and cross-functional teams, managing complex topics with autonomy and strong business understanding.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support and configuration within
    SAP FI – Banking
  • Work extensively with
    SAP S/4HANA FI
    and
    SAP ECC FI
  • Manage
    Treasury and Banking processes
    , including:
  • Bank communication and integrations
  • Configuration of bank file formats and interfaces
  • Electronic bank statements and payment processing
  • Support
    Credit Management
    and
    Controlling
    :
  • Cost centers
  • Internal orders
  • Ensure proper
    FI integration with PS, MM and SD
  • Act as a trusted advisor for business users and management, handling complex FI topics with confidence and professionalism


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA FI
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP ECC FI
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Treasury and Banking
  • Bank file configuration and payment interfaces
  • Credit Management
  • Controlling (cost centers & internal orders)
  • Solid understanding of
    FI integration with PS, MM and SD
  • Proactive and autonomous profile, able to interact with multiple stakeholders and senior managers
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    Vertex
    or other tax integration solutions
  • Background in
    multinational or multi-country SAP environments
  • Experience within FMCG or industry projects
