Role Description
The Executive Chef will oversee the culinary operations at Nobu Hotel Marrakech, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Marrakech. The role includes menu creation, managing kitchen staff, controlling costs, overseeing food preparation, and maintaining relationships with suppliers. The Executive Chef will provide leadership, foster a creative culinary environment, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in menu planning, innovative recipe development, and food presentation
- Strong leadership, team management, and staff training abilities
- Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and supplier negotiations
- Commitment to food hygiene, kitchen safety, and meeting health regulations
- Experience with various cuisines, especially Japanese or fusion, is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and luxury hospitality environment
- Formal culinary education and relevant certifications are highly desirable
- French Speaker and / or Marrocean Speaker
